A Haven
FOR SIPPIN’ & SAVORIN’
Tucked away in the back of Food and Table – Jacksonville’s renowned dining dynamo – one can find an unpretentious yet wholly-inspiring libationary retreat.
Accessed via the alleyway behind the restaurant, the bar is a favored spot on Friday eves while the fabulous Omakase dinners are underway at the front of the historic downtown building.
Indulge in crafted cocktails, top-shelf liquors and carefully-curated beer. While you sip, enjoy nibbles such as peanuts, olives, caviar bumps, and 2-person charcuterie boards.
The bar’s moniker hails from a woodworker’s “half-blind” dovetail – a favorite joinery of owner and bar master Bud Farmer whose incredible talents also manifest as a furniture maker and wood worker (tables and cutting boards are on display in the bar and restaurant).
Relax, imbibe and enjoy.
